The Amoroso Award is bestowed on Dr. Alan Radford, board member of the ABCD
Dr. Alan Radford is a board member of the ABCD and member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
Abstract:
Held at the ICC/NIA in Birmingham from 11 to 15 April, the WSAVA / FECAVA / BSAVA World Congress 2012 was the largest international veterinary event ever held in the UK. At this occasion, the prestigious Amoroso Award was bestowed on Dr. Alan Radford, virologist at the Veterinary Field Station Leahurst, University of Liverpool. The award was instituted in memory of the late Professor E.C. Amoroso of the Royal Veterinary College. It is presented for outstanding contributions to small animal studies by a non-clinical member of university staff.
